The unit is so loud. I was told it was normal but when the tech came and I put on the second burner it was even louder. The electronics will be replaced but even with the "normal" sound it was concerning. Huge EMFs being unloaded in unhealthy levels (but likely with all high end inductions) I have regret there.

Aesthetics, functional, questionable reliability

I love the silver look and most of it works great. But I've been disappointed with a recurring yet intermittent issue. About 20% of the time when using the center burner on high, the unit shuts off within several minutes of use. It is then able to be turned back on, but it's very frustrating because I might have stepped away while cooking a stew (true story), I had the timer running for another burner I was operating, etc. Every component was replaced in our original unit, the unit was replaced, and we have the same issue in the new unit. I cannot reproduce it on demand. But we have recordings, but this is apparently inadequate for resolution. This issue was noted on Reddit boards but it never seems to be resolved in the same way for each user - and sometimes not at all. I honestly really like the look and functionality of this product. I wish it worked 100% of the time. But it doesn't.

We loved this induction cooktop ™" until it stopped working less than 6 months after installation. The entire touch panel failed, leaving us unable to cook, which is extremely inconvenient for a large family. Monogram/GE should consider including a backup induction hot plate for situations like this. This follows another recent issue ™" we already had to replace our Monogram refrigerator due to an ice maker failure. Not a great ownership experience so far. To be fair, if everything worked, I™™d give the line 10/10 for beauty and design. We also have the Monogram microwave and standard oven, and those have been excellent so far ™" fingers crossed they remain reliable. We invested a major portion of our kitchen renovation budget into these appliances with the hope of both enjoying their aesthetics and trusting their durability while entertaining.

Beautiful cooktop. Both powerful and delicate. Easy to clean/keep clean. Love the SmartHQ functionality and precise temperature settings available to use like an electric skillet. Look forward to trying the sous vide probe accessory that I have ordered. Think that will add a new dimension to my cooking.

Monogram is absolute garbage, especially the customer service. The WiFi LED light can not be turned off, so there is a constant blue light shinning on the cooktop. Also, the WiFi failed to connect at one point, and the only way to even get the WiFi settings to come up again was to hard reset the cooktop. Additionally, the temperature setting buttons are not sensitive enough and take multiple pushes to operate. Stay away from the Monogram brand if you are expecting high end appliances.

I™™ve always had gas and still figuring out how to gauge correct temperature. Plenty of space to have several pans going at a time. The induction ™noise™ is only very noticeable when on high heat.

Been a life-long gas cooktop user but finally made the switch to induction. Absolutely love it. The ability to dial in the exact level of heat needed for anything from barely simmer, to moderate simmer to rolling boil is impressive. The difference in time that it takes to bring a pot of water to a boil is shockingly short. Dinners using pasta are coming together much more quickly. The evenness of the heat on each burner means that there are no uneven cooking spots. And I can actually walk away from the cook top and do something else without feeling like I have to constantly come back to check that the food is not boiling over or below simmer point. I an very happy with my decision to switch from gas to induction!

I recently did an entire kitchen overhaul. My home does not have gas, so everything is electric, including my beautiful GE Monogram Induction cooktop. This item is very sleek, and has a high end, high tech look. It adds some glamor to my already beautiful kitchen. But, it™™s not just a knock out, it is also very functional and quick. It has 5 cooking sensors of varying sizes and strengths/purposes. They thought of everything. I love it and highly recommend this.

Cooktop is working great. We like the way the controls are set up and how easy they are to operate. The humming sound the burners make is only noticeable when the burner is on high and even then it is minimal. We are very pleased to be free of our gas cooktop and using induction. And it™™s beautiful - love the gray color.

The cooktop has been great to this point but time will tell. GE Appliance Promotions included a flyer with the owners manual that said if you purchase an induction cooktop you could get a free Heston Cue Smart Pan or a 3.5 quart Smart Sauce Pot. I tried to claim the pan on their promotions website and it would never work. I called and talked to two different people and still no help. I finally sent an email and the response said Best Buy did not participate in the promotion but the flyer terms and conditions did not mention anything about a dealer having to participate to receive the promotion. I have included a picture of the promotion offer as a reference.

Great cooktop overall. Several burners will boil water in a minute which is incredible. One burner won't get water to a rolling boil which seems odd. My biggest gripe is that you can't set a timer that will automatically shut off the burner when it ends. My 8 year old thermador induction cooktop had that feature. Overall very happy with the cooktop

Such a pretty color. It has fantastic controls, cooling/heating quicker. I believe it is faster heating and cooling than a gas stove. We purchased the Hestan Cue pans and they work great. We are waiting on our free pan from GE though.
