Tough to control heat

The stove top is very good looking, but the temperature controls are very difficult to adjust and maintain. I would not recommend the product and I am actually replacing it even though it is in perfect condition. I wish I could get my money back.

Costly to repair or replace

This is our 3rd GE induction top. First one died and too costly to replace electronics. 2nd one had a salt shaker drop on it and it cracked. This is the 3rd only because my wife wants to match appliances. This generation seems to heat slower than the previous two. They are fine when working but very costly to replace or repair.

I've had a Monogram induction cooktop for the past 15 years and had to replace as I dropped a pyrex bowl on it by accident and it shattered. The new one is even better so I'm glad I was forced to replace the old one. :) The only complaint is that the timer sound is very low. I did follow the instructions to turn it to the highest but it is still hard to hear.

Outstanding, even better than expected! The ease of clean up is almost life changing, we had a normal glass cooktop for the last 20 years and there's simply no comparison regarding cleanup, really effortless now. And the precision of temperature control is wonderful. I used to bring water to a boil, then add oatmeal, but I had to move the pot off the burner immediately to prevent it boiling over because the old burner cooled off very slowly. With induction the water in the pot stops boiling immediately when I turn down the control, fantastic! The cooktop surface is also quite different and seems to be more resistant to scratching which is great

The grey 4-burner monogram induction cooktop is perfect! The grey color is beautiful. It goes well with our light countertops. Changing from a 5-burner gas cooktop to induction was a lot easier than expected. (The extra counter space is great too.) The lower profile induction, compared to gas, makes sauce pans more accessible. The layout of the burners, the largest burner Not being in the back, is perfect. The taller larger pots can be heavy when full and hard to manage when in the very back of a stove. The different burner capacity is a plus. All the burners can get pans really hot, really fast. But there™™s a couple burners that can be made really low for gentle warming or melting chocolate. Most pots and pans do great on this stovetop. Cast iron does great on it (Lodge pans don™™t scratch it), and so do stainless steel pots that are induction stove compatible. Unfortunately my regular stainless steel tea-kettle wasn™™t compatible. My pressure cooker is phenomenal on induction! It gets up to pressure in only a few minutes. The controls on this induction stovetop are easy to understand and use, and it™™s helped being able to see them all the time. The efficiency of the induction is amazing! This was definitely a great purchase.

Looks good, works as expected. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could -- the only minor complaint I have is that the touch buttons for turning on/off the burners require a little firmer and more precise press than I expect. Perhaps this is intentional and is meant to avoid inadvertent powering on/off of the burners?

This is my 2nd GE Monogram Induction Cooktop. I had my old one for 9 years and it never gave me an issue . The only reason I had to replace was due to a pot cracking the cooktop, not a product failure , just human error .

I love the induction heating technology because heating the pans are fast and easily adjusted. Another feature that is different than our previous electric cooktop is that you need a pan on the cooktop to turn on a burner. This wasn™™t so in our previous electric cooktop.

We did a ton of research, went and looked at lots of cooktops. We were limited to 30™ models. This model has high powered induction modules, the controls are intuitive, and the silver color doesn™™t show any residual film as much as the black glass models

Three months in and I am loving my Monogram cooktop as I learn to adapt to induction. The burner sizes and arrangement are better than I anticipated since you can actually use pans that are two inches smaller than the size of the burner, so the 11' burner is actually quite versatile. Everything works as advertised. I wish the precision cooking feature could be used with any induction suitable pan versus the special pans required but I look forward to receiving my gift pan.

We have used the induction cooktop for only a few days, but so far finding it an excellent choice for our home. Temperature controls are outstanding - we can finely tune the heat in a way that gas or electric cooktops can't begin to touch. The gray color of the cooktop literally looks like it is disappearing in our quartzite and upon entering the kitchen it is cool and clean and open looking. My only small complaint is that the typography is small and difficult to read until you get used to using the appliance from memory.

I cook for my family a lot, and I wanted to move away from a gas cooktop. This is my first ever induction cooktop, and so far I am pleased. Water boils so quickly (set on high), though I am still learning the best settings to cook other foods. Clean up is a dream!! I'm only 3 weeks in, so hopefully over the long term I will continue to love this cooktop as much as I do now.

I love the look of my new stove top. It appeared to be a wonderful design until I actually used it. There are three small burners and one large burner. One of the small burners only heats to a certain temperature and then shuts off. If I™™m cooking a number of items, the stove just doesn™™t work for me. Because it™™s an induction stove I bought all new pots. Unfortunately, some of them do not work because of their configurations. The ones that I do have work beautifully and I™™m beginning to understand how everything works.

We previously had a very similar 30 inch induction cook top from Monogram. It was prefect for our uses, until an accident cracked the surface. Enter the new ZHU30RSTSS, which boasts Wifi and Bluetooth access alongside the induction cooking experience. We have found that the rings sizes are different to our previous cooktop of they same config which has left our existing cookware less effective. That in its self is a bigger issue. the big ring is too big for many of our pans and vice versa on the smaller rings. All is to say watch out for the ring sizes.

This is our first induction cooktop and now that we have used it for about one month we would not return to gas or electric. It does take a week to get used to it. We burned a couple of things initially because of the rapid speed of heating with induction cooking, but now that we are familiar love the advantages. Especially, the safety aspects. As soon as you remove a pot from its position, that element is automatically turned off. Also the surface of the cooktop never gets too hot as with an electric cooktop. I really like the fact that the handles of pots and pans remain unheated, so I can move saucepans without gloves. The touch sensitive controls are futuristic looking and easy to use, providing fine control over the heat. My wife and I definitely recommend the Monogram induction cooktop.

The cooktop looks great and is much nicer to cook on than my previous electric cooktop. From my perspective induction gives me the instant response of gas cooking with the consistency of electric cooking. It also makes for a much cooler cooking experience in the kitchen. My only complaint is that the WB01X24570 brackets should be included in the box.
