I bought and installed this A/C August 172023 and due to the high Texas heat it has run and cooled continually since. It took me several days to figure the best settings for my 400 sq.ft. area but it is doing the job fairly well. I do not believe it cools as well as the older conventional types but I like the quietness of it and am overall satisfied with it.

Was gifted this window unit about 3 weeks ago. It replaced an old unit that stopped working. This thing is great. I love being able to roll out bed and turn it on with my phone and then by the time I make it to the wood shop it is already cool in there. The remote was missing from the box but a quick call to customer service and a replacement was in the mail and had arrived a few days later.

Bought this for kitchen/LR window in a mobile home. 400-450sf 98 in Pensacola with 108 index and the 10000 btu unit easily keeps area under 75 quietly In a trailer Lol. Even though there is not an auto function when in energy saver mode the unit does shut off when it achieves set temp like eco mode does in other units.

Have had the unit for about a month and are pleased with the performance it is quieter than the two previous units at this window. It has a slow start up when placed in Energy Saver that didnt wake us up Great for sleeping. Didnt like the fact that an awning is possibly required it is mentioned twice in the inst. manual. We cant afford to install an awning. The unit is also lighter than the previous hopefully these two items will not reflect in the length of service. So far we love it. I

It cools great. It is fairly quiet which is very important in the bedroom but could be quieter. I thought it would cut off after set temp was reached but continueously runs until it is manually shut off. Electric bill was not as high as I expected after using unit for a month in NYC.

I purchased the LG 10k btu dual inverter ac and it will pay for itself this summer. I had replaced a portable ac that I had for quite a while. I also purchased a LG 23.5k btu to replace my old 18k btu fridgidaire ac at the same time. I also have to mention that both are installed on the West side of my house and are in full evening sun for at least 6 hours during the hottest part of the day. Between the two and during the hottest summer on record in southeastern Texas my electric usage is very close to half of last years usage for May and June. That translates at current rates to approximately $150 savings each month.That alone is exceeding my expectations but the units are extremely quiet also. Installing the 10k btu unit was fairly easy but I didnt use the extra braces provided. Instead I used a brace that I purchased since I was on the second floor. I had seen complaints about the bottom side curtain guides so I was especially careful and had no issues. I also think that the bottom guides should be redesigned and be metal like the top ones. Overall I am very pleased and hope that these units will last as long as my old ones. Only time will tell but right now I highly recommend

We had higher hopes for this air conditioner than have been met. It was listed as coming with a remote but it did not. During the recent smoke plume issue here on the east coast US we realized there is no way to open or close the vent. Apparently it just stays open all the time. It does not read the room temperature correctly. Otherwise it runs okay and is somewhat quiet but based on the information we read about this air conditioner before buying it it is louder than we expected.

Bought this unit due to its height and width to fit my smaller double hung window on my 2nd floor dormer where my bedroom is. I like it also as it is WiFi connected. Dont like the fact that the fan speed is only manually controlled. It also seems to not put out quite as much volume as my previous air conditioner which was a Midea. That unit on the highest speed setting would turn my ceiling fan when the fan wasnt running. I do like the Econ feature an the looks of the unit. It is somewhat quieter than the previous unit. I also like the app except to change the fan speed I have to go to the second page of the app. Why not include the fan speed on the initial page of the app.

I bought this unit to use mostly during power failures post hurricane. It is extremely quiet cools very well and is efficient which is important for me using solar/ battery backup or small portable generator. Ive tested it in both my bedroom+bath350 sq ft and LR open to kitchen 800 sq ft The inverter is well worth the extra cost in a bedroom. It starts slowly and softly instead of the thunk of a compressor starting on a standard unit. Its oversized for my BR+bath but the inverter ramps down resulting in power consumption based on backup battery draw down being about the same as a 6000 btu Soleus U shaped that Ive used The LG is quieter. On the down side some of the controls are not intuitive or useful to me. The sleep setting is the opposite of what I would want: It turns the set point up 2Fafter an hour but for me Id rather set point to drop 2 degrees as I go to sleep. The display of fan speeds uses F1 F3 F3 instead of HI MD LO. The temp display seems to be the set point always where other models show set point while adjusting and actual temp otherwise.

Got this awesome looking and super quiet ac unit the beginning of august and I loved it until half way up September that is when a error code showed up. Called LG service department and explained my issue . Within a couple of days a service tech was send over but could not fix the problem Was given a case # to follow up got a call 6 days later and I explained my story again I bought this machine because it looked high quality and did not mind spending a little extra . Now here we are 3 weeks without AC and still no solution. Please fix it or replace it or give me my money back. Cant afford to buy another one after just buying this one. I found the installation of the stylish LG 10000 BTU Window Air Conditioner to be fairly uncomplicated. The unit comes with an installation kit and an easy-to-use remote control. This marvelous dual inverter AC offers outstanding performance. It has two compressors multiple modes including an energy savor mode and useful smart features. The unit effectively cools a room faster and more efficiently than my previous traditional AC. The thermostat on the model is very accurate. Temperature regulation is superb. The sleep mode turns off the unit after a set time. The fan can go in different directions. You can adjust how bright the display is so the light doesnt keep you awake. I also like that the AC alerts you when its easily accessible washable filter needs to be cleaned. This standout unit has proven to be quite energy-efficient and I have experienced a welcome drop in my electric bill. Additionally this smart AC connects easily to Wi-Fi and features LG ThinQ which works with Google Assistant and Alexa. I appreciate the ability to control the unit with the app or by just my voice. Being able to remotely turn the AC on or off and change its temperature settings from my smartphone is a handy perk when I am away from home. This is great for a small room. Its not too loud and has Bluetooth capability which can be useful if you leave the house and forget to turn it off. I love that it has a washable filter and is more energy efficient than the old air conditioner we used to own. The fan can go in different directions. So versatile It also looks sleek and modern and not an eyesore. It would be nice if you can control the volume on the sound alerts when you change settings but its nothing major. Would give 4.5 stars if that option was available.

This a/c does what its supposed to and does it well. In addition it comes with a lot more useful features than most. For example it has a timer that turns it off or on at a preset time. This is very helpful in saving electricity but having it start cooling when you need it. Nice because I always forget. Also I like the sleep mode. Its very quiet. 44dB almost like a library. And you can set how bright the display is so the light doesnt keep you awake. Havent tried it yet but its wi-fi enabled. So if youre out and want to come home to a cool house you can use your phone to turn it on. or off if you forget It also has a remote which makes it easy to do stuff like adjust the fan speed from your easy chair. Overall Im loving this thing.

the 10000 BTU DUAL Inverter Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner is super quiet even on the highest setting. the unit pairs with my smart phone using the LG ThinQ app. Once connected i can completely control the AC from my phone on/off fan speed temp. there is even a diagnostic mode.
