I've had Bosch dishwashers for years. This is my 3rd one. The new top shelf configuration is the worst. There used to be 2 sides with racks and now it's one. The glasses don't fit when there are bowls on the same side. Overall it fits less and not easy to turn on. Plus super $$$$

I wish I could say that I love it but right now I find it extremely difficult to figure out how to operate - the door is very stiff and pops up ( hoping once our custom panel is in the weight weight will hold it down. ) I do love how quiet Bosch is - it does seem to have less space than my old one due to the top silveware rack =

I bought this thinking a white panel. It turned out it was panel-ready. A Home Depot employee sold me a white dishwasher. I kept on requesting a change or panel, but no one helped me. It has an electronic board to start or turn off the machine, which is at the top, making it hard to turn on and off because the dishwasher is under the granite slab

I just received my dishwasher and it worked initially well. I've had it for 3 weeks and now the dishwasher doesn't work and the water isn't draining. I have service coming this week to fix.

We had a Bosch for 15 years prior to this one. Love how quietly it operates. I kept my silverware baskets from my old because the new one only had a very small basket available. So far so good. Our installer was stellar! He gave me more info than the salesperson. He even stopped back to reinstall because of a leg issue and underlayment floor fix. Keep him!!

It is taking me some time to learn all the intricacies of this new dishwasher. It works great so far except the jetdry dispenser is missing a gasket at the bottom. When adding jetdry it just runs out the bottom. I have a call into the repairman.

After a rabbit hole of reviews, we decided on this one, even though it is quite a bit more expensive than other options. I really wanted panel ready, which slimmed options down by a lot. We haven't installed the front yet, so it is still not beautiful (: We were very disappointed at first, to find that the dishwasher is supposed to be "smart" and connected to wifi in order to even start. I didn't see that feature in any descriptions or reviews and it honestly would have been a deal breaker if we knew that ahead of time. Not a good surprise. It wasn't connecting for the first hour of trying, and we were extremely close to boxing it up and sending it back. BUT, it eventually connected and allowed us to start it. We have used it consistently for the past month now, and are really enjoying it, no issues related to wifi connection; knock on wood. The quietness wasn't honestly a huge deal to me but now having this virtually silent dishwasher, it is fantastic, since we have a small, open concept area. It's great. It washes really well and holds a ton of dishes. We're still finding the little tweaks and tricks to adjusting drawers to make it even better. I am unimpressed with the drying, even with the crystal dry. But. I have not added rinse aid yet, and I hear that can make a difference, so the jury is still out on that. Overall, a fantastic dishwasher. My only huge complaint is, don't make me connect it to wifi!! Unnecessary, inconvenient, and just asking for problems and hacks. please, no.

We are underwhelmed with the dishwasher. The racks are flimsy and do not fit our plates, bowls, or wine glasses. It doesn't dry even with the crystal dry and Finish. The glasses are still wet. The top rack flips small bowls over so they fill with water. Not a good design and flimsy. The dimensions provided for the panel ready model were incorrect and we had to cut it down by an inch and refinish.

We dont think about our dishwasher since its been installed... that is the best compliment an appliance can get. It could be better with drying our dishes, but we can live with wet dishes at the end of a cycle.

When we built new house, my first choice was the Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher. I love the third rack and the ability to lower one side to accomodate wine glasses. It is so quiet! Cleans dishes perfectly!

Very quiet dishwasher that cleans extremely well. What I enjoy most is the third rack for utensils and other small items. This frees up space in the other racks. Was easy to install (I installed the counter face) and easy to use. Highly recommend

As quiet as advertised. We can't hear it running which is great. Third rack for silverware is nice, but often leaves dried on food. Best to rinse the silverware before loading the unit.

Got this unit as a replacement for an older 300 series unit.
While it is the "direct replacement", it is 7/16" deeper than the older unit, which unfortunately meants the new dishwasher isn't flush with the cabinets.
The touch buttons aren't intuitive/easy to use - you have to wait for the unit to respond to the power on press, then once you touch start you have 4 seconds to close the door - unnecessary complexity. Old unit had real (push) buttons that responded immideately and worked well.
Another questionable decision - utensils rack. While a great idea (in principle), the door (with the added weight of the wood panel) slams hard when it closes (too much tension in the spring), which in turn makes all the neatly arranged utensils fly in different directions and not stay neatly organized for optimal wash/dry. The result - poorly washed utensils, with water pooled in spoons that (should be) on their side if the door did not slam and mess everything up.

Let me first point out that, unlike most 5 star reviews, this review is NOT incentivized. Yes, this dishwasher washes well and is quiet. Other than that, loading it is a battle, so little actually fits in. After owning it 6 months, it is by far the most impractical and frustrating appliance I have ever owned. Not sure what specs were used to design it but not real life use. Standard size dining plates (11in) rub up against the spout at the bottom of the glass tray when height-adjusted for wine glasses, just not enough space. We can never load all the dishes and glasses used in one meal, which was never a problem in our old d/w. Forget about fitting in a water bottle. We have tried many different ways of loading this thing. It's simply awful. A dishwasher should make life easier, not frustrating, particularly at this price point. I wish I could get my money back.

Our household purchased the series 800 Bosch dishwasher. We love the flexibility of different cycles and especially the ability to choose a Speed 60 cycle for quick jobs. Love the sanitize and Crystal Dry features.
We replaced our old Bosch of 20 years with this one. Some things I miss are the old dishwasher basket design and the ability to place large items flat on the bottom rack. A section of the tines in our old dishwasher completely laid down. I would also recommend an option of the very top rack made of the sam materials of the bottom two. We named our dishwasher Harry, after the TV show!

We have never ownes a Bosch dishwasher before but when out Kitchenaid washer died we decided to try Bosch due to a recommendation from a friend. I have been very impressed with how clean our dishes are after wash. I was concerned initially about the washer not having a drying heat coil but I have not noticed any wet dishes after washing. The washer is super quiet and has a red light hologram on our floor to tell me when its washing and when it is done. I watched all videos from Bosch on how to load dishes and all were great. Top rack for cutlery, bowls on second rack with glasses and plates for bottom rack. 5 stars Bosch

Even with the crystal dry setting it is so wet inside the washer at the end of the cycle. I miss my old machine. (I do like the adjustable rack feature)

We had an 10 year old dishwasher that we could not get the dishes to come clean with, despite us cleaning the jets and nozzles, and esuring the filer was cleared and running various commercially available dishwasher cleaning products. We still had accumalted gunk in the water and could not get it cleaned.
It was similar to the Bosch model we selected in that it was a stainless steel interior and was considered a hogh end model. We picked the Bosch as it had a mechanical pump rather than relying on the household water pressure.
Once installed, we were impressed by how much quieter it was than the old dishwaher, and as far as the performance, it was off the charts. Items that we had to hand scrub no longer required us to do that. The controls were also first rate and easy to use.
If you are considering the Bosch , spend the extra money, you wont regret it.

Purchased through Home Depot, our panel ready dishwasher arrived, was installed by HD, and started right up. I had been advised that the installer would not mount our panel as part of the install, and since this was replacing an older GE unit, we removed our custom panel that matches our cabinetry and other appliances. On inspecting the documents that came with the unit, there was nothing about how to install our panel.
This could have been either Bosch or Home Depot, but I was able to reach someone at Bosch and have been told that the necessary information/kit will be received in 5-7 days. In the interim, due to the absence of the weight of the panel, it is too difficult to open the door by my wife. Stay tuned, I am trusting Bosch to make this right.

My brand new customer panel Bosch dishwasher worked for a whooping 6 weeks before no longer working. It has now been over 2.5 months of getting the run around from Bosch on fixing it. Meanwhile I have a newborn at home and no dishwasher to wash and sanitize bottles. After multiple attempts of a repair person coming out and replacing parts that did not fix it, I finally had to demand a new unit because the last time the guy came out he said his next step was to try replacing a part that was on back order until an unknow time. You read that right, they said the part was on back order and they had no clue when it would be available and I was just expected to wait until....whenever I guess. They finally agreed to replace my dishwasher, after much persistence on my part, but that was nearly a month ago and I still don't have a dishwasher....Bosch says they're working to "find an installer in my area, then they'll order and ship my new dishwasher"....Mind you I live in a really big city, so it shouldn't be that hard. Bosch dishwashers aren't great in my experience and their customer service is some of the least customer centric and worst I've ever experienced. Don't waste your time or money on Bosch!
