After 21 years, our microwave finally died. It was extremely capable and large for our family. Our repairman suggested a replacement that he thought would match our old one. He recommended the Frigidaire model we now have. It does all the things the old one does as long as you carefully read the manual. The control panel is completely different. So we™€™re getting used to it. One thing we really like is the LED lights over the range. The vcosg of the unit was reasonable but the installation by a sub contractor ran the price up. We figure a ™€œbuilt in™€ will always cost a little more.

Works great and looks sleek. Using it with the outside venting. Range lights are bright. Lights and fan have multiple settings. Fan's high setting moves a lot of air. It has 2 lower settings that a quiet.

All good except for 2 things:1. The door makes odd noises (creaking/scratching) when opening and closing. Sounds like it may not have been assembled properly. I plan on reporting it while it is still under warranty.2. Sometimes it runs very quietly and sometimes it is very noisy. There does not seem to be any reason why. It does not seem to correlate to anything.

Excellent micro. The defrost feature alone makes it worth the price. It works so well when I forget the thaw meat in the fridge. Also I was pleasantly surprised that the fan automatically comes on when I use the self cleaning option on our frigidaire stove. So glad we biught it. It evens warms up pizza amazingly well. Our last micro was horrible for warming up pizza. Well done Frigidaire!

I was a bit worried by some people who complained about the auto fan, but it's really barely noticeable most of the time and a good safety feature.I like that you can turn off the sound, and the add 10 and 30 seconds buttons are nice. Looks nice, although the large Frigidaire logo is not my favorite, it's overall very nice looking.

This microwave works like charm. I find it to be very quiet during operation as well as all of the fan modes. The only complaint I have is the fact that the clock is so bright and you cannot dim it. It is either on or off. A dimmable option would be great.
